UAE Visa Cancellation

UAE Visa Cancellation

All outsiders from different nations who live in the UAE on a Residence Permit should have it canceled if they wish to leave the state forever. UAE visa cancellation has to be completed by the sponsor on behalf of the immigrant.

How to Cancel

Your sponsor is a responsible person who has to cancel your UAE Visa. The visa owner cannot appeal for UAE visa cancellation. The application procedure for withdrawing a UAE Residence Permit is as follows:

  1. If you are employed in United Arab Emirates your company first appeals to have your work permit canceled
  2. Your sponsor appeals for your UAE visa cancellation at the offices of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). Then the GDRFA cancels your visa

Note: You have 30 days to depart from the nation after your UAE visa is canceled

Canceling a UAE Work Permit and Work Visa

If you are on the UAE on a Work Permit, your company should also cancel your work certification (Labour Card) and work agreement at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization. The appeal procedure for withdrawing a work permit is as follows:

  • Your company appeals via the web portal of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization
  • Your company affixes the documents by electronic means
  • The Ministry manages the appeal temporarily and forwards the info to the GDRFA
  • The GDRFA cancels your Residence Permit and notifies the Ministry, who then permanently cancel your UAE work permit

Sideways with the appeal for UAE work visa cancellation, your company also has to submit a formal letter, signed by you validating that you have got all the salaries, payments, and benefits you are due. Please do not endorse the letter except you have got them.

Canceling Your UAE Work Permit if You are Altering Jobs

If you are altering jobs in the UAE, but you will not depart from the nation, then your company should cancel your work certification for you. It is relaxed to alter employers if you have by now spent two years working for the first company (for example, your work agreement has finished). If your work agreement is not over, but you want to change employment, then your existing company has to sign a No Objection Certificate (NOC) shifting sponsorship to your new company. If your present company does not approve of the early cancellation of your agreement, then you may face receiving an employment prohibition. The employment prohibition can be from six months to one year.
